Der Lehrstuhl Softwaretechnologie an der Fakultät Informatik der TU Dresden ist im Rahmen des europäischen AQUILA-Forschungsprojektes vom 20. bis 22. November 2001 Gastgeber und Veranstalter eines gemeinsamen Arbeitstreffens dreier europäischer Forschungsprojekte mit der offiziellen Zwischenbegutachtung der Projekte durch die Europäische Union. Die drei Projekte AQUILA, CADENUS und TEQUILA gehören zum sogenannten "Premium IP Cluster" des europäischen Forschungsprogramms "IST". Die ca. 50 Teilnehmer stammen aus Industrie und Forschung von dreizehn europäischen Ländern und arbeiten an konkreten Visionen und Technologien für das Internet von Morgen.
