"Terror, Sicherheit und Zivilisation" ist das Thema einer Podiumsdiskussion, zu der die Interdisziplinäre Arbeitsgruppe Naturwissenschaft, Technik und Sicherheit IANUS an der TU Darmstadt am Donnerstag, 8. November 2001, ab 18.00 Uhr einlädt. In der Podiumsdiskussion soll die aktuelle Situation nach den Anschlägen in den USA in ihren Voraussetzungen und möglichen Folgewirkungen analysiert und diskutiert werden. Im Anschluss an die einleitenden Thesen der Referenten wird reichlich Raum zur Diskussion sein.
Auf dem Podium diskutieren Prof. Dr. Heiko Körner (einleitende These über "Entwicklungsprobleme und soziale Konflikte"), Prof. Dr. Adalbert Podlech ("Innere Sicherheit"), Prof. Dr. Josef Rützel ("Ausländer an der TU Darmstadt"), Prof. Dr. Klaus Dieter Wolf ("Außenpolitik und Internationale Beziehungen"), Moderator ist Prof. Dr. Gernot Böhme. Veranstaltungsort ist der Hörsaal S1/01/053 unter dem Audimax, Karolinenplatz 5, Darmstadt. Alle Interessenten sind herzlich eingeladen.
