Potsdamer Wissenschaftler erhielt Forschungspreis für Romanistische Literaturwissenschaft
Den von der Freiburger Albert-Ludwigs-Universität verliehenen Forschungspreis für Romanistische Literaturwissenschaft zu Ehren von Hugo Friedrich und Erich Köhler ging in diesem Jahr an Prof. Dr. Ottmar Ette von der Universität Potsdam. Der Wissenschaftler erhielt den Preis für seine Habilitationsschrift über den französischen Intellektuellen Roland Barthes. Diese Studie sei die erste umfassende deutsche Monographie über den französischen Denker, heißt es in der Laudatio.
Ottmar Ette wurde 1956 im Schwarzwald geboren. Er studierte Romanistik und Geographie in Freiburg und Madrid. Seit 1995 ist er Professor für Romanische Literaturwissenschaft (Französisch/Spanisch) an der Universität Potsdam. Er promovierte 1990 und habilitierte sich 1995.
Die Freiburger Albert-Ludwigs-Universität verleiht seit 1985 im Rhythmus von drei Jahren den Forschungspreis für Romanistische Literaturwissenschaft. Der Preis ist mit 10.000 DM dotiert und wird an hervorragende Forschungsarbeiten auf dem Gebiet der romanistischen Literaturwissenschaft vergeben.
