Polymerzentrum gegründet Werkstoffwissenschaften und Technische Chemie im Verbund
An der TU Clausthal sind die Werkstoffwissenschaften, die Kunststoffverarbeitung sowie die polymeren Werkstoffe, und die Technische Chemie zu einem Polymerzentrum zusammengeführt worden. Damit haben Studierende der Chemie die Möglichkeit, ihr Studium in Ergänzung der Vertiefungsfächer Analytische Chemie, Biochemie, Makromolekulare Chemie, Umweltchemie, Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Technische Informatik durch eine Spezialisierung auf diesem von der Industrie gesuchten Gebiet zu vertiefen.
