Termin: Eröffnung des Interdisziplinären Zentrums für magnetische Resonanz am Dienstag, 5. Februar 2002, um 16:15 Uhr im Hörsaal 1 des Hörsaalgebäudes II auf dem Campus Nord der Universität Dortmund.
An der Universität Dortmund wird am 5. Februar das Interdisziplinäre Zentrum für magnetische Resonanz (IZMR) eröffnet. Beteiligt sind vor allem die Fachbereiche Physik und Chemie sowie das benachbarte Max-Planck-Institut (MPI) für molekulare Physiologie. Festredner wird Prof. Dr. Richard R. Ernst von der ETH Zürich sein, der 1991 den Chemie-Nobelpreis für seine Arbeit auf dem Gebiet der Kernspin-Magnetresonanz erhalten hat (Siehe Medieninformation 02-027 vom 24.1.02).
Wir geben Ihnen zu Beginn der Veranstaltung Gelegenheit zu Fotoaufnahmen mit dem Festredner und Nobelpreisträger Prof. Dr. Richard R. Ernst sowie Rektor Prof. Dr. Albert Klein, den Dekanen Prof. Dr. Hellmut Keiter (Physik) und Prof. Dr. Bernd Ralle (Chemie), dem Direktor des MPI, Prof. Dr. Roger S. Goody, und dem Leiter des IZMR, Prof. Dr. Dieter Suter.
