Beim 10. Wettbewerb Deutscher Musikinstrumentenfonds vom 1.-3. März in Hamburg, der über 60 Teilnehmer zählte, waren alle drei Bewerber der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock erfolgreich. So erspielte sich die HMT-Absolventin Albena Danailova, die derzeit in der Münchner Staatsoper unter Vertrag ist, die Verlängerung ihrer wertvollen italienischen Geige.
Zufrieden ist ihr Professor Petru Munteanu auch mit Lucja Madziars Leistung, die erstmals eines der begehrten Instrumente gewann. Die 21jährige Geigerin studiert seit 1995 an der HMT.
Andreas Janke, Student bei Prof. Christiane Hutcap gehört ebenfalls zu den Gewinnern. Für ihn stehen in diesem Jahr zwei weitere große Wettbewerbe an, so im Mai der Internationale Henri-Marteau-Wettbewerb in Lichtenberg und der Internationale Niccolo-Paganini-Wettbewerb in Genua.
