Ehrenmedaille für Christoph Reigber
Vening-Meinesz-Medaille für GFZ-Wissenschaftler
Die XXVII. Generalversammlung der European Geophysical Society (EGS) hat Herrn Prof. Dr. Ing.Dr.Ing.E.h. Christoph Reigber für herausragende Beiträge auf dem Gebiet der Satellitengeodäsie und der Erforschung des Erdschwerefeldes, gemeinsam mit Prof. Dr. Georges Balmino (GRGS/CNES), mit der Vening-Meinesz-Medaille ausge-zeichnet. Die Medaille wird seit 1997 in Anerkennung hervorragender Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Geodäsie (Erdvermessung) verliehen.
