Voraussichtlicher Nachfolger von Dekan Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Kleiner ist Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe Clausen, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Verkehrssysteme und -logistik. Kleiner steht als Prodekan zur Verfügung. Für das erstmals zu besetzende Amt des Studiendekans kandidiert Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernd Künne.
