Das Plenum der Hochschulrektorenkonferenz hat am 9. Juli in Berlin durch einstimmigen Beschluss vier neue Mitgliedshochschulen aufgenommen: die Palucca-Schule Dresden - Hochschule für Tanz, die Robert Schumann-Hochschule Düsseldorf, die Fachhochschule Nordhausen sowie die European Business School Oestrich-Winkel. Die Palucca-Schule und die Robert Schumann-Hochschule gehören damit der Mitgliedergruppe Kunst- und Musikhochschulen, die Fachhochschule Nordhausen der Gruppe der Fachhochschulen an. Die European Business School wurde der Gruppe der sonstigen Hochschulen nach HRK-Ordnung zugeordnet. Die HRK hat damit nun 262 Mitgliedseinrichtungen.
