Übergabe der Amtskette am 19. April
Professor Dr. med. Christopher Baum ist seit 1. April neuer MHH-Präsident. Er hat das Amt von Professor Dr. med. Dieter Bitter-Suermann übernommen, der Ende März ausgeschieden war. "Ich freue mich sehr auf die anstehenden Aufgaben in der Gestaltung und Entwicklung unserer Hochschule, in einer sorgsam abgewogenen Kombination aus Innovation und Tradition", sagt Professor Baum.
Der 50-Jährige war seit 2007 Forschungsdekan an der MHH und leitete das Institut für Experimentelle Hämatologie. Am Freitag, den 19. April, wird Professor Bitter-Suermann während einer öffentlichen Feierstunde um 14 Uhr in Hörsaal F die Amtskette an Professor Baum übergeben.
