KBF-Symposium mit Experten aus aller Welt in der GBF.
Der Einfluss von Infektionen auf die Entstehung ansteckender und nicht ansteckender chronischer Krankheiten steht im Mittelpunkt eines Symposiums des Verbundes Klinisch-Biomedizinischer Forschung (KBF) am 22. und 23. Oktober in der Gesellschaft für Biotechnologische Forschung (GBF). Zu der internationalen Tagung werden führende Wissenschaftler erwartet, die sich mit grundlegender, vorklinischer und klinischer Forschung beschäftigen. Der Verbund Klinisch-Biomedizinischer Forschung unterstützt die Zusammenarbeit zwischen öffentlichen Forschungsinstituten und Universitäten mit dem Ziel, die klinische Forschung in Deutschland zu fördern.
Eröffnet wird die jährlich stattfindende Tagung von Professor Dr. Reinhard Kurth, Präsident des Robert Koch Instituts, Berlin. Bei dem Symposium geht es unter anderem um den Zusammenhang zwischen Infektionen und Krebs, um chronische Lebererkrankungen und chronische Entzündungen sowie um Kreislauf- und neurologische Erkrankungen.
