Am 4. November um 14:30 Uhr wird im Max-Planck-Institut für biophysikalische Chemie am Faßberg der Neubau "NMR II" eingeweiht, in dem die neue Abteilung von Prof. Griesinger "NMR-basierte Strukturbiologie" betreibt. Kernstück des Gebäudes ist ein 5 Mio. Euro teures NMR-Spektrometer, mit dem sich die Feinstrukturen von Molekülen in Lösung untersuchen lassen. Die Einweihungsfeier, an der auch Bundesministerin Bulmahn und der Niedersächsische Minister Oppermann teilnehmen, wird von wissenschaftlichen Festvorträgen aus dem Forschungsgebiet der neuen Abteilung umrahmt.
