DFG-FÖRDERUNG
Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) hat Dr. Thomas Lück, Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Theoretische Physik II in der Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät, für die Bearbeitung seines Forschungsprojekts "Grenzschichten zwischen Supraleitern, Normalmetallen und Ferromagneten" für 18 Monate Mittel zur Finanzierung seiner eigenen Stelle sowie Sachmittel bewilligt.
RUF NACH KARLSRUHE
Dr. Matthias Vojta, Wissenschaftlicher Assistent am Lehrstuhl für Theoretische Physik III, hat einen Ruf auf eine Professur für Theoretische Festkörperphysik an der Universität Karlsruhe erhalten.
DEUTSCHER VERTRETER IN IUPAP-KOMMISSION
Prof. Dr. Dieter Vollhardt (Lehrstuhl für Theoretische Physik III/EKM) ist auf der letzten Generalversammlung der International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) als deutscher Vertreter in der Kommission C5 (Tieftemperaturphysik) für den Zeitraum bis Herbst 2005 wiedergewählt worden.
