Ein gemeinsames Seminar der Fachbereiche Gartenbau und Landschaftsarchitektur der FH Erfurt mit dem BdB-Landesverband Thüringen befasst sich am 27.11.2002 um 14 Uhr mit "Jungbaum-Management in der Baumschule und am Endstandort". Leiter des Seminars sind der Professor für Baumschule, Gehölzkunde sowie Arbeitslehre und -organisation Heinz Edgar Thon sowie der Professor für Landschaftsbau/ Baubetrieb Gert Bischoff.
Im Seminar gibt es von Dipl.-Ing. Peter Uehre (Gartenbauzentrum Wolbeck) Schnittempfehlungen für Alleebäume nach dem "Wolbecker System". Zudem gibt es von Dipl.-Landschaftsökologen Ludger Rauert (Grün-Wert AG)
