Erstes größeres geisteswissenschaftliches Projekt der EU-Kommission in Berlin gestartet
Im Berliner Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte haben Peter Fisch, Vertreter der Kommission der Europäischen Gemeinschaft in Brüssel, und Jürgen Renn, Direktor am Institut, das europäische Projekt ECHO (European Cultural Heritage Online) offiziell gestartet. An dem Projekt, das auf eine Initiative der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zurückgeht, beteiligen sich 16 Partner aus 9 europäischen Ländern, darunter auch Beitrittskandidaten.
