Am Dienstag, dem 26. November 2002, trafen sich rund 30 Unternehmer und Geschäftsführer aus Wismar und dem Landkreis Nordwestmecklenburg mit Professoren der Hochschule Wismar zu einem Fachgespräch.
Im Mittelpunkt standen Referate zu den Themen Unternehmensbewertung und Umsatzplanung. Aufgrund wiederholter Nachfrage wiesen die Referenten, Prof. Dr. Olaf Bassus und Prof. Dr. Burchard Stier, sowie Prof. Dr. Peter Kiel als Vertreter des Westmecklenburger Forums für Wirtschaft e.V., das als Mitveranstalter auftrat, mehrfach auf die Bereitschaft der Hochschule hin, den Unternehmen aus der Region mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen. Die Möglichkeiten hierzu seien noch bei weitem nicht ausgeschöpft.
