Um die Entwicklung schaltbare Membranen mit Porengrößen im Millionstel Millimeter Bereich dreht sich ein Forschungsprojekt, für das drei Bayreuther Professoren jetzt Fördermittel erhielten.
Fördermittel für fachübergreifende Entwicklung von Nanomembranen
Die Bayreuther Professoren Dr. Jürgen Köhler (Experimentalphysik IV), Dr. Axel Müller (Makromolekulare Chemie II) und Dr. Georg Krausch (Physikalische Chemie II) erhalten im Rahmen des Bayerischen Langfristprogramms Neue Werkstoffe Euro 160.000,- für ein gemeinsamen Forschungsprojekt, in dem schaltbare Membranen mit Porengrößen im Millionstel Millimeter Bereich entwickelt werden sollen. Die Mittel dienen der Verbesserung der apparativen Infrastruktur und sollen zur Anschaffung eine Kryo-Ultramikrotoms für elektronenmikroskopische Messungen und zum Ausbau eines bestehenden Rasterkraftmikroskops genutzt werden.
