Das Studium Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Industrie) der Ernst-Abbe-Fachhochschule Jena hat noch einzelne Plätze zu vergeben. Ein Studium, das mehr ist, als die Summe seiner Teile, denn Wirtschaftsingenieure integrieren technische und wirtschaftliche Kenntnisse gleichermaßen: Sie entwickeln neue Produktionsverfahren, planen und optimieren Anlagen und organisieren ganze Abläufe und Strukturen in Unternehmen. Wirtschaftsingenieure stellen die Wirtschaftlichkeit nicht nur von Erzeugnissen und Abläufen, sondern von ganzen Unternehmen sicher.
