Der Fachbereich Geoinformationswesen der Fachhochschule München lädt zu einem öffentlichen Vortrag "Geodatenvisualisierung auf PDA's" (personal digital assistent) am Mittwoch, 29. Januar 2003, ein. Referent ist Prof. Dr. Theodor Wintges vom Studiengang Kartographie und Geomedientechnik. Vorgestellt werden neue Entwicklungen der Oberflächengestaltung einer Größe von etwa 6 x 7,5 cm für Displays. Die entwickelte Applikation ermöglicht eine thematische und strukturelle Navigation durch die Anwendungssoftware. Sie kann beispielsweise für die Standortsuche oder Orientierung in einer Stadt eingesetzt werden.
Die Veranstaltung beginnt um 17.00 Uhr, Hörsaal 21, Karlstraße 6. Sie findet in Kooperation mit der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kartographie, Sektion Bayern, statt.
