Das Institut für Ostrecht München (IOR)veranstaltet unter der Schirmherrschaft des Bayerischen Staatsministers der Justiz, Dr. Manfred Weiß, vom 20. bis 22. März 2003 die traditionelle Ost-West-Rechtstagung mit dem Thema "Justizreformen in Mittel- und Osteuropa". Die Veranstaltung findet im Konferenzzentrum der Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung in München statt.
Die Tagung wendet sich insbesondere an Interessenten aus den Bereichen Justiz, Anwaltschaft, Rechtspolitik und Wirtschaft.
Im Anschluss an die Vorträge besteht Gelegenheit, Fachgespräche mit hochrangigen Vertretern der Rechtspflege aus zehn Transformationsländern (Bulgarien, Kroatien, Polen, Rumänien, Russische Föderation, Slowakische Republik, Slowenien, Tschechische Republik, Ukraine und Ungarn), aus Deutschland sowie von europäischen Institutionen über aktuelle Probleme der Justizentwicklung in Mittel- und Osteuropa zu führen.
