Die Karelia-Suite von Jean Sibelius sowie die Chor-Fantasie op. 80 von Ludwig van Beethoven sind im ersten Teil zu hören. "...und der Mond" ist Thema des zweiten Teils eines gemeinsamen Konzertabends mit dem Chor und dem Orchester der Universität Dortmund.
Am Mittwoch dieser Woche (05.02.03) bringen die beiden großen Ensembles der Universität Werke zu Gehör, die in diesem Semester einstudiert wurden. Konzertbeginn im Audimax am Vogelpothsweg 87 auf dem Campus Nord der Universität Dortmund ist um 20:00 Uhr. Das Thema Mond wird dabei mit Arien und Chören aus Opern von Otto Nicolai, Vincenzo Bellini, Giacomo Puccini und Carl Orff beleuchtet. Das Orffsche Singspiel "Der Mond" wird in Kürze vom Unichor komplett aufgeführt.
Solisten sind am Mittwochabend Angela Meyer (Sopran) und Thomas Körner (Tenor). Die musikalische Leitung hat Werner Seiss. Die Moderation übernimmt Chordirigent Reinhard Fehling.
Der Eintritt ist frei.
