In der kommenden Woche (10. bis 14. Februar 2003) steht das zentralafrikanische Land Kamerun im Blickpunkt der Universität Dortmund. Die Studierenden, das Akademische Auslandsamt und der Club Camer e.V. laden zur Kamerunischen Woche.
Bereits am Montagmorgen (10.02.03) beginnt das Programm mit Informationsständen und Bilderausstellungen in der Mensa und im Foyer des Hauses Emil-Figge-Straße 50, Die Bilder sind bis zum Freitag zu sehen. Am Dienstag tischt die Mensa sogar Spezialitäten aus Kamerun auf.
Am Mittwoch (12.02.03) ist Kamerun im Campus-Treff, Vogelpothsweg 120 auf dem Campus Nord Thema von zwei Veranstaltungen. Um 15 Uhr geht es in einer Podiumsdiskussion um die Frage "Entspricht das kamerunische Schulsystem den Forderungen der modernen Zeit?". Ein Vortrag berichtet um 18:30 Uhr über "Demokratie und Entwicklung - Beitrag der Diaspora zur Transformation der Gesellschaft in Kamerun". Es spricht Konrad Itondo.
Die Kamerun-Woche klingt am Freitagabend (14.02.03) aus mit einer Party für alle Freundinnen und Freunde des Landes und seiner Studierenden in der Katholischen Hochschulgemeinde an der Ostenbergstraße 107.
