Mit tele-TASK - Teleteaching Anywhere Solution Kit - wird eine neue drastisch vereinfachte Technologie für online Vorlesungen eingeführt. Dabei wird nicht nur, wie üblich, der Dozent in Form eines Videobildes übertragen, sondern simultan das Video inklusiv Ton des Dozenten sowie der Bildschirminhalt seines Präsentationsrechners. Ein plattformunabhängiger Abruf wird durch den Realplayer ermöglicht. Es werden Live und On-Demand Zugriffe unterstützt.
Tele-TASK unterstützt alle gängigen Plattformen, verschiedene Netzbandbreiten und beliebige Präsentationsprogramme. Spezielle Installationen, Konfigurationen oder auch Vorkenntnisse seitens der Endanwender sind nicht erforderlich. Auf der ACM SIGUCCS Conference 2002 in Providence, USA, erhielt tele-TASK den Einstein Award für das "interessanteste, herausforderndste und beste Idee" Projekt.
