Verdacht auf SARS hat sich nicht bestätigt
(ukg) Der Verdacht auf "Schweres Akutes Respiratorisches Syndrom" (SARS) bei einem Patienten im Universitätsklinikum Göttingen hat sich erfreulicherweise aufgrund des klinischen Verlaufs nicht bestätigt. Er konnte inzwischen entlassen werden. Der Mann war im Uniklinikum untersucht worden.
Der Patient hatte sich nach einem längeren Chinaaufenthalt mit Symptomen eines grippalen Infektes ins Uniklinikum Göttingen begeben. Wegen seines Auslandsaufenthaltens wurde er auf der Infektionsstation des Universitätsklinikums von anderen Patienten isoliert untergebracht.
