Mit Honigbienen befasst sich die aktuelle Ausgabe der Fachzeitschrift "Unterricht Biologie" (Nr. 283). Gestaltet wurde das 54 Seiten starke Heft unter Mitarbeit der Bienenforscher aus der Gruppe von Prof. Dr. Jürgen Tautz am Biozentrum der Uni Würzburg. "Die Idee dabei war, aktuelle Resultate der Würzburger Bienenforschung schülergerecht zugänglich zu machen", so der Professor, der für die Zeitschrift auch den Basisartikel "Die Honigbiene - Neuigkeiten über ein bekanntes Insekt" geschrieben hat. Die Fachzeitschrift "Unterricht Biologie" ist ein Kooperationsprodukt von Friedrich-Verlag (Seelze/Velber) und Klett-Verlag (Stuttgart). Ihre Zielgruppe sind alle Schulstufen in Deutschland. Zur aktuellen Ausgabe gehört auch eine CD-ROM mit Informationen über Honigbienen, Hummeln und Wespen.
