Im Rahmen der Tage der Forschung findet von Donnerstag, dem 8. Mai, bis Freitag, dem 9. Mai 2003 der ASIM Workshop "Modellierung und Simulation in Automotive und Prozessautomation" auf dem Campus der Hochschule Wismar statt.
Das Vortragsspektrum reicht von der Präsentation vergleichender Programmierung zur Modellierung eines Dieselmotors mit Hilfe unterschiedlicher Softwareangebote über modellbasierte Regelung in der Anästhesie bis zur Materialflusssimulation in der Flugzeugmontage.
Einwesentliches Ziel des Workshops ist der Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen Simulationsspezialisten und -anwendern aus den Bereichen Automative sowie Prozessautomation. Aus diesem Grund wird der Workshop gemeinsam von Hochschul- und Industrievertretern durchgeführt. Er wird durch die Hochschule Wismar, die Universität Rostock sowie dem Industriepartner IAV GmbH Gifhorn in Zusammenarbeit mit der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Simulation (ASIM) organisiert, so dass zahlreiche Teilnehmer aus ganz Deutschland erwartet werden.
