"Rhythmus und Orgel" nennt sich ein Seminar vom 9. bis zum 11. Mai 2003 am Institut für Kirchenmusik und Musikwissenschaft, Bahnhofstraße 48-49, das Johannes Gebhardt, Dozent für Orgelspiel, und Wolfram Dix und Matthias Zeller aus Leipzig künstlerisch leiten werden.
Der Kurs beginnt am Freitag, dem 9. Mai um 18.00 Uhr mit einer Einführung in der Aula des Institutes. Der Kurs endet am Sonntag, 11. Mai um 16 Uhr mit einem Abschlußkonzert im Dom St. Nikolai, bei dem alle drei Dozenten auftreten werden mit Musik für Percussion, Violine und Orgel. Sie wollen "improvisatorische Grenzgänge zwischen Jazz und traditioneller Kirchenmusik" zu Gehör bringen.
