Kleiner, schneller, besser: Mit dem Lab-on-a-Chip sparen Chemie und Pharmaunternehmen Zeit und Geld.
Beispielsweise wird auf der ACHEMA ein neuer Chip für die Separation von Biopartikeln, wie etwa Viren und Bakterien gezeigt. Komplette Mikroreaktionssysteme für die schnellere Entwicklung von Feinchemikalien oder pharmazeutischen Substanzen werden auf dem Produktmarkt Mikrosystemtechnik der IVAM im Forum Ebene 0 auf dem Stand A9/D9 vorgestellt. Die Mikroreaktionsanlagen sind modular angelegt und daher äußerst flexibel.
Neben den Komplettsystemen werden auch Komponenten, wie etwa Mikropumpen und -ventile, gezeigt.
