Die Stadt Darmstadt stellt eine Verkehrsinformations-App vor, die zukünftig Grundlage für Bürgerdienste, innovative Verkehrsanwendungen für die Privatwirtschaft und weitergehende Forschungsprojekte sein wird. Die bereitgestellten Informationen zeigen die aktuelle Verkehrslage in Darmstadt und bieten somit die Voraussetzung für besseren Verkehrsfluss, zur Verbesserung der Luftqualität und Reduzierung der EU-Grenzwerte für Stickstoffdioxid in Darmstadt. Grundlage ist eine besondere open data-Plattform für Bürger und Unternehmen.
