Sixty-six students from 40 countries began the 12-month full-time MBA program at ESMT European School of Management and Technology in Berlin today. The international business school has been educating MBA students for ten years. On average, the students in the current class are 30 years old and have six and a half years of work experience.

Four students, coming from Moldova, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe, are Kofi Annan Fellows. These full scholarships have been provided by Allianz SE in the context of its 125th anniversary. They are awarded to talented candidates from developing countries who are dedicated to the development of the economy in their home region after graduation.

“It is our great pleasure to welcome the largest and most international class to ESMT at the tenth anniversary of our MBA program. As an excellent and innovative research hub, and with its creative startup scene, Berlin attracts diverse talents from all over the world,” said Zoltán Antal-Mokos, dean of degree programs of ESMT. “We offer them individual attention and a proven curriculum with several innovations, including an exchange with our partners schools in the Global Network for Advanced Management as well as integrating GTEC, the German Technology Entrepreneurship Center on ESMT campus, into the learning module that focuses on entrepreneurship.”
