Students of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management have been invited to the global finals in London in mid-March 2016.

The HHL team of Benjamin Kühl, Philipp Veit and Estelle Zanga have always moved straight forward – towards victory; from the short-listing of the Accenture Global Case Challenge at HHL in November 2015 to the German finals in the Accenture Strategy headquarters in Kronberg/Taunus in late January 2016.

The HHL team beat out the competition from WHU, ESCP and EBS with an outstanding solution to a question on the topic of urban poverty. Estelle Zanga reports, "It is an incredibly motivating to know that our solution, if finally selected, will actually be implemented. This means that we contribute to offering children around the world a healthier childhood, opportunities for the future and a voice that can be heard."

As a next step, the students have been invited to the global finals in London in mid-March 2016 where they will face international competition.

The Accenture Global Case Challenge is a case study competition among the best business schools worldwide. The students work on a real case of the "Save the children" charity, addressing the particular issue of poverty in the increasingly urban third world. Several steps must be taken before joining the global finals in London in March 2016 where the participants will then have the opportunity to present their solution to the executives of Accenture Strategy and "Save the Children". The finalists receive a direct offer for an internship at Accenture Strategy, non-cash prizes and exclusive career coaching by experienced Accenture Strategy consultants. https://www.accenture.com/us-en/Careers/strategy-global-case-challenge.aspx
