Die Akreditierungsorganisation AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business hat die 1991 entwickelten Akkreditierungsstandards überarbeitet.
"In a bold move that will impact management education throughout the world, members of AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business have adopted new accreditation standards. The association?s Blue Ribbon Committee on Accreditation Quality, working in close collaboration with members, developed the standards over a 30-month period. The standards were ratified at the associationŽs 2003 International Conference and Annual Meeting, held in New Orleans in April.
The new standards are unique in that they are relevant and applicable to all business programs around the world. Previous AACSB standards, which were last modified in 1991, were tailored to the structures and traditions of U.S. business schools. As more and more schools outside the U.S. have sought AACSB accreditation, the need for updated and more global standards became obvious.Ž"
