Prof Patrick B. Miller (Chicago) Fulbright-Gast in Bayreuth
Im Sommersemester 2003 lehrt Patrick B. Miller, Professor an der Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, als Fulbright Senior Lecturer auf Einladung des Lehrstuhls für Amerikanistik / Anglophone Literaturen und Kulturen (Prof. Dr. Klaus Benesch) an der Universität Bayreuth.
Prof. Millers Forschungsinteressen sind die Geschichte Amerikas im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Afro-Amerikanistik, die Themen Ethnizität und Sport, Populärkultur sowie Jugend und Bildung.
