J. Tebbe Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Holzforschung e.V. (DGfH)

The Subject of this "Workshop 3", is to discuss and establish the organisation and structure of wood research on an European level with the focus on the interests and the participation of associations and enterprises.

Due to the success and response of the 1st Workshop of the ERA-Wood initiative which was held on October 10 in Hamburg and the 2nd Workshop on December 10, 2002 in Vienna, we cordially invite you to the

    3rd ERA-Wood Workshop on August 28/29, 2003 in Stockholm:
    "Design of an operational structure
for the European Wood Research Area"

Target Participants of our 3rd Workshop are key-players and decision makers of the European forest and woodworking industries (including SMEŽs)

The first principle of the ERA-WOOD initiative is the leading role of representatives of the economy.

The result of the activities will be to influence and use the advantages of optimised common research on EU-level to strengthen the competitiveness of the European integrated wood chain.

If times are hard, we have to act anticipatively!
This is true for both stock exchange and research!

If you are a representative of the target group and you believe,
co-ordinated wood research on an EU-level is needed,
this is the chance to participate!
