In April 2017, ESCP Europe business school will launch a MOOC in ‘Intercultural Management’ on the Coursera education platform.
The five week programme, conducted in English and starting on April 5, will aim to provide business managers with the necessary knowledge and skills to lead transnational, culturally-diverse teams.
Participants will access the content online as part of a live forum with modules on:
•Intercultural teams and leadership
•Intercultural Human resource management
•Intercultural marketing decisions
•Intercultural negotiation
Those who complete the programme will be awarded with a certificate in Intercultural Management.
Béatrice Collin, dean of the faculty says “The educational objective of this MOOC is to enable learners to master the basic concepts of intercultural management by considering it as a human and social opportunity. Participants will be encouraged to develop innovative solutions to the challenges posed by a global workforce that can then be applied in their working lives.”
The programme, part of a wider digital project at ESCP Europe, was developed and will be taught by a team of ESCP Europe Professors from Berlin, Paris and Turin campuses and experts from the corporate world.
ESCP Europe has already developed a MOOC “Comprendre l'écologie, pour une économie innovante” in French and will launch another MOOC this spring on "Doing Business in Europe".
