Up to the 27th of March 2017 refugees can sign up for a free German language course (level B1) and the JUST study program at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL). The university introduces this program called Join Us and Study (JUST) to provide refugees with access to selected courses within the guest studentship program. In addition, participants may enrol in one of the courses offered in regular study programs, one per semester starting in April.
On the 27th of March 2017 there will be an information sessions from 4pm to 6pm at the university’s campus in Lichtenberg. General information about the courses open for refugees and on registration formalities as well as individual advice will be given.
Refugees living in Berlin may attend those courses which are taught in German and English free of charge and without having already received an acceptance letter for a normal university place. For extensive, individual advice, the open consultations run by the Central Student Advisory Service can be used at both, the university campus in the city part of Schöneberg as well as in Lichtenberg. The German Academic Exchange Service financially supports the JUST-program.
