    - 89 students with 39 different nationalities
    - 43% of the students are female

ESMT Berlin welcomed 89 students from 39 different countries to the current Master’s in Management (MIM) program this week, almost doubling the class size. This is the largest and most diverse class since the start of the program in 2014. Forty-three per cent of the students are female, and the average age is 23. Students come from five continents, and 20 per cent of the class is European.

The two-year, practice-oriented curriculum combines internships and a social impact project with applied coursework and research on the latest business and management theories. Nick Barniville, Associate Dean of Degree Programs, said, “We are now in the fourth year of the program and, following a decision to open a second track for those who come from outside of STEM undergraduate disciplines, we saw a doubling of applications. We now have roughly one-third of students following the track in quantitative business, with two thirds opting for the innovative management track.”

The ESMT MIM is ranked 14th globally by The Economist magazine. For further information about the MIM program: https://www.esmt.org/degree-programs/masters-management
