ruhr:HUB and IVAM Microtechnology Network enter into a strategic partnership

Mona Okroy-Hellweg Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
IVAM Fachverband für Mikrotechnik

    Digitalization support for high-tech SMEs:
More success by collaborations – this is the motto of networking initiatives, associations and other organizations. This can generate useful synergies and create significant added value for all members of the networks involved.

In order to push the process of digitalization at small and medium-sized companies in the high-tech sector, the initiative ruhr:HUB and the IVAM Microtechnology Network form a strategic network partnership.

ruhr:HUB CEO Oliver Weimann explains the advantages of the cooperation: "The networking of start-ups with established companies is one of the core tasks of ruhr:HUB. With IVAM, we were able to gain a partner who, together with its member companies, is pushing ahead massively with digitalization in Germany and showing great interest in innovative business models."

IVAM Managing Director Thomas Dietrich is also looking forward to actively promoting digitalization together: "Established SMEs often lack the necessary know-how. Inhibitions have to be overcome. At the same time, an active, highly motivated IT start-up scene is created that has the requisite know-how. If both groups work together, the challenges of tomorrow's industry can be met. ruhr:HUB helps our members find the right contacts."
