The DZIF Academy is pleased to open the call for application for the fifth DZIF Prize for Translational Infection Research. The German Center for Infection Research (DZIF) will award a prize of 5.000 Euro for exceptional translational infection research. Application Deadline: October 12, 2018.
Candidates who significantly contributed to infection research in Germany can either be nominated by a DZIF partner site or a mentor or apply directly to the DZIF Academy. The prize will be awarded during the DZIF Annual Meeting in Heidelberg, December 3-4, 2018, where the recipient will be honored and have a chance to present his or her research.
The call for application is open to all researchers with outstanding achievements in translational infection research and is not restricted to applicants from DZIF partner sites.
The following materials are required for application:
• One-page description of candidate’s research focus and key achievements in translational infection research
• Candidate’s CV including prizes and honors
• Five key publications
• Complete list of publications and patents
• Two letters of recommendation
