ESMT Berlin and Yale SOM launch double degree program

Double degree: Master in Management (MIM) and Master of Management Studies in Global Business and Society (MMS GBS)

ESMT Berlin and the Yale School of Management (Yale SOM) are offering a double master's degree. Starting with the current intake, students at ESMT Berlin can acquire two degrees: an MSc in Management (MIM) from ESMT and a Masters of Management Studies (MMS) from Yale SOM in just two years.

Master’s students at ESMT can apply to Yale for MMS program upon enrollment at ESMT. Students accepted on to the dual degree program attend the first year in Berlin, the second at Yale. Both schools decide independently whether the criteria to award their own respective degree have been met.

“The double degree from ESMT and Yale is an opportunity for outstanding students to build a global network at the beginning of their professional lives. Not only will students experience the diverse perspectives of a top technology-oriented European business school and an Ivy League partner, but they will join the alumni networks of both schools,” said Nick Barniville, Associate of Dean of Degree Programs at ESMT.

In September 2018, the fifth cohort started the MIM program in a class made up of 92 students from 25 countries.
