Auf der 7. Europäischen Kommunikationskonferenz (ECC) der Europäischen Kommunikationsforschungs- und -bildungsassoziation ECREA ist Prof. Dr. Evandro Oliveira von der HMKW Berlin zum Vizevorsitzenden der ECREA-Fachgruppe Organisations- und strategische Kommunikation gewählt worden.
Bereits seit 2011 engagiert sich Prof. Dr. Evandro Oliveira, Studiengangleiter des M.A. Public Relations and Digital Marketing am Fachbereich Journalismus und Kommunikation der HMKW Hochschule für Medien, Kommunikation und Wirtschaft in Berlin, in der Europäischen Kommunikationsforschungs- und -bildungsassoziation ECREA. Neben Vorträgen auf mehreren ECREA-Konferenzen organisierte er die Konferenz der ECREA-Fachgruppe Organisations- und strategische Kommunikation (OSC) im Jahr 2015 an der Universität Leipzig, wo er zum damaligen Zeitpunkt als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter arbeitete. Kurz darauf wurde er Mitherausgeber des Buches mit den Konferenzbeiträgen rund um Kommunikation von Non-Profit-Organisationen „Strategic Communication for Non-Profit Organizations – Challenges and Alternative Approaches“ (Wilmington, Delaware: Vernon Press 2016). Im Jahr 2018 war er Mitglied des wissenschaftlichen Kommittees der Fachgruppen-Konferenz in Málaga, Spanien. Im Herbst dieses Jahres bewarb er sich gemeinsam mit zwei weiteren Mitgliedern, der bisherigen Co-Vizevorsitzenden Dr. Isabel Mora-Ruiz (Universität Málaga) sowie Dr. Joan Ramon Rodriguez-Amat (Universität Sheffield Hallam, Großbritannien) als neues Leitungsteam der OSC-Fachgruppe. Auf der durch die ECREA ausgerichteten 7. Europäischen Kommunikationskonferenz im Schweizer Lugano wurden die Leitungsteams der 21 Fachgruppen, der Netzwerke und Arbeitsgruppen neu gewählt. Prof. Dr. Evandro Oliveira wurde mit 86% der Stimmen zum neuen Vizevorsitzenden der OSC-Fachgruppe gewählt und folgt damit auf Dr. Gisela Gonçalves (Universität Beira-Interior, Portugal). Seine Mitstreiterin Dr. Isabel Mora-Ruiz folgt als neue Vorsitzende auf Dr. Ian Somerville (Universität Leicester, Großbritannien).
Die HMKW gratuliert ihrem Professor Dr. Evandro Oliveira herzlich zur erfolgreichen Bewerbung und freut sich, durch ihn als eine von wenigen privaten Hochschulen in einem ECREA-Fachgruppen-Leitungsteam vertreten zu sein.
