Information-meeting online or offline at Hochschule Ludwigshafen
Ludwigshafen/Koblenz. On Saturday, December 15 at 11:00 am (CET), there will be an on- and offline information event concerning the distance learning MBA program Logistics – International Management & Consulting, provided by Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences. All who are interested are invited either to come to Hochschule Ludwigshafen, Ernst-Boehe-Str. 4, B-building, Room B321 (3rd floor), 67059 Ludwigshafen or join the session online from home. Prof. Dr. Sabine Scheckenbach, academic director of this study program, will inform prospective students about the program taught 100% in English, in a mixture of E-Learning units and three short in-class residencies in Germany. She will present the content of the program and give information about the schedule of the course. After that she will be at the visitor’s disposal for further questions about the course and the application procedure.
Studying global logistics
The MBA program Logistics – International Management & Consulting is designed to the needs of working professionals or graduates, who want to obtain management expertise for a professional dealing with the challenges of global logistics. They want to get a higher academic degree on an international level to climb the career ladder or for a career change.. They study nearby their job and don’t have to leave their residents unless for a few days a year for three in-class residencies in Ludwigshafen (Germany).
The distance learning study course MBA Logistics – International Management & Consulting is performed by Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with zfh – Zentrum für Fernstudien im Hochschulverbund. The zfh, who is specialized in distance higher education, supports universities in implementing these courses. About zfh
zfh – Zentrum für Fernstudien im Hochschulverbund, is a scientific institution of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate and has its registered office in Coblenz. The ratification of the "State Treaty on Distance learning Courses at Universities" in 1998 provided the legal basis for the state-wide co-operation between the German states Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen and Saarland. zfh promotes and supports the development and implementation of distance learning studies in these German federal states and in that respect co-operates with 18 universities. The program currently comprises more than 70 distance learning courses and includes social sciences, business administration and technical fields. The number of students has continually increased since zfh was established. In the meantime, more than 6,200 students have registered with the participating universities for distance learning courses. All zfh distance learning courses with a view to obtaining a Bachelor or Master qualification are certified by the accreditation agencies ACQUIN, AHPGS, ASIIN, AQAS, FIBAA or. ZEvA and are therefore internationally recognised.
