Die südafrikanischen National Research Foundation hat den Bayreuther Tierökologen Professor Klaus H. Hoffmann mit dem Alexander-von-Humboldt/South African Research Award ausgezeichnet.
Bayreuth (UBT). Für seine Verdienste in Forschung und Lehre ist der Bayreuther Tierökologe Professor Dr. Klaus H. Hoffmann von den südafrikanischen National Research Foundation in Pretoria mit dem Alexander-von-Humboldt/South African Research Award ausgezeichnet worden.
Drei jeweils zweimonatige Aufenthalte an der Universität Kapstadt (University of Cape Town/UCT) bei Professor Gerd Gäde im dortigen Zoologischen Department sind mit dieser Auszeichnung verbunden.
