An der Ev. Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit & Diakonie wurde in der letzten Sitzung des Hochschulrates Prof. Dr. Marcus Hußmann zum Professor für Soziale Arbeit berufen.
Prof. Dr. Marcus Hußmann (Jg. 1970) studierte Soziale Arbeit & Diakonie an der Evangelischen Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit & Diakonie (ehemals Ev. Fachhochschule Hamburg).
Nachdem er 2010 an der Universität Hamburg im Fachbereich Erziehungswissenschaften promovierte, folgte er 2011 dem Ruf auf die Professur für Sozialarbeitswissenschaft an die Evangelische Hochschule Dresden, wo er von 2013 bis 2017 Prorektor war.
Seine Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte bilden u.a. die Grundstrukturen und Theorien der Sozialen Arbeit, diakonische Identität, Forschung und Praxis der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, Praxisberatung und Praxisentwicklung, soziale und institutionelle Ausgrenzungsprozesse sowie sozialräumliches Handeln.
Prof. Dr. Marcus Hußmann wird seine Professur an der Evangelischen Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit & Diakonie zum Sommersemester 2020 antreten.
