Christiane Sauer stellt innovative wandelbare Materialien und deren Anwendungen im räumlichen Kontext vor: Identität und Eigenschaft eines Materials sind keine festen Größen, sondern offen für Transformationsprozesse und Interpretationen.
Dipl. Ing. Christiane Sauer gründete "Formade", ein Büro für Architektur und Material und unterrichtet an der Universität der Künste, Berlin. Sie arbeitete für internationale Büros unter anderem bei OMA / Rem Koolhaas an den Projekten Prada, New York und der Niederländischen Botschaft, Berlin.
