Everything is different in corona times: For this reason, the big information day for prospective students - the Uni Day (Uni-Tag) - will take place online this year – spread over four days. On 20th June 2020 the degree programmes of the School of Engineering Sciences and School of Civil and Environmental Engineering will present themselves online.
Starting at 9:30 am, a wide range of information and activities regarding these degree programmes at TUD will be available. The focus will be on subject-related information as well as on important topics such as study requirements, application and deadlines, numerus clausus (degrees with restricted admission), study financing, living, stay abroad and many other topics.
Competent contact persons, academic advisors, and students will answer questions and provide support in making the right study decision. At the Instagram channel @tudresden prospective students may easily put their questions concerning studies at TUD to six current students. Whether mechanical engineering, computer science, traffic engineering, process engineering and natural materials technology or hydrosciences – the thirty-minute-slots of „Q&A“ (question and answer) offer an insight to the degree programmes.
Prospective students who gain their university entrance qualification from a „MINT-EC“-School (German network of STEM-focusing high schools) and intend to start studying a STEM subject will be supported by the „Gesellschaft von Freunden und Förderern der TU Dresden“ (Association of Friends and Sponsors of TU Dresden) with a monthly scholarship during the first academic year. A chat will be available for questions.
The virtual Uni-Day on 20th June marks the end of the series of these digital information days. All information will still be accessible.
