Im September 2020 wurde Prof. Elmar Nass, Sozialethiker an der WLH, als Mitglied des Kuratoriums für das Katholisch Soziale Institut Siegburg (KSI) bestellt. Die Ernennung erfolgte über Institutsdirektor Prof. Dr. Ralph Bergold im Namen des Institutsvorstands.
Das KSI ist das Sozialinstitut der Erzdiözese Köln. Auf der Grundlage des christlichen Menschenbildes versteht es sich als Ausdruck der Solidarität und der Kommunikation der Kirche und der Christen mit den Menschen in unserer Gesellschaft. In seiner vermittelnden, klärenden und kritischen Funktion übernimmt es zudem einen diakonischen Auftrag.
