Professor Schmid hat Anfang Februar den Ruf an die Universität Bayreuth abgelehnt. Er war vom Bayerischen Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst auf den Bayreuther Lehrstuhl für "General Management mit internationaler Orientierung" berufen worden. Die Bayreuther Universität wollte Stefan Schmid gewinnen, um das Vertiefungsfach "Internationales Management" neu aufzubauen. Die ESCP-EAP Europäische Wirtschaftshochschule Berlin freut sich sehr, dass sie Professor Schmid in Berlin halten konnte und somit auch in Zukunft auf seine äußerst wichtigen Beiträge in Forschung und Lehre und auf seine Impulse für die Hochschulentwicklung zählen kann.
