Professor Marco Jung ist seit 1. Januar 2021 Vorsitzender des IEEE Joint Industry Applications Society, Power Electronics Society and Industrial Electronics Society (IAS/PELS/IES) German Chapter.
Ziel des Chapters ist es, als Vermittler auf dem Gebiet der Leistungselektronik, Regelungstechnik und elektrischen Antriebe in Deutschland zu wirken, die Kommunikation innerhalb der deutschen Community zu fördern und die nationalen und internationalen Verbindungen in Meetings zu stärken. Das Chapter ist assoziiert mit dem internationalen Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) und wurde in der heutigen Form 2001 als Joint IEEE Industry Applications Society, Power Electronics Society and Industrial Electronics Society (IAS/PELS/IES) German Chapter gegründet.
Marco Jung ist an der H-BRS Professor für Elektromobilität und elektrische Infrastruktur mit dem Schwerpunkt Leistungselektronik.
