German and foreign students learn together
In the coming winter semester, the Jade University of Applied Sciences will launch its new BA in International Business Studies (IBS) on the Wilhelmshaven campus. The course lan-guage will be English. Over seven semesters, students will acquire profound knowledge and a prac-tical understanding of international business combined with varied intercultural experience.
Four specialisations will enable the students to gain in-depth understanding of sustainable company management, international business and operations on growing markets, digital company manage-ment and business psychology. They will be able to choose between focusing on a single subject or mixing and adapting topics to suit their own interests and goals. This gives them an active role in designing their personal learning path.
A mandatory practical semester in an international company or organisation as well as the option to study abroad will offer students valuable insights into the globalised economy and prepare them for their future career.
IBS combines the traditional study of business management with unique specialisations and practi-cal experience. With its international teaching programme in the English language, the course brings together German and foreign students who can work together in an international atmosphere and learn from each other.
"IBS is exactly the right course for anybody who wants to understand and shape digitalisation, sup-port sustainability, and understand and actively steer the behaviour of people and markets", says Prof. Dr. Doreen Appelt.
The application deadline is 15 September. Applicants need proof of the university entrance qualifica-tion as well as English language skills.
